ALL VIDEO SHARE

I'll try again, I don't see my initial posting, so I guess it didn't go through.

I have added a custom .jpg file as thumbnails for each of my videos. These thumbnails do not show up on my website.
I have uploaded the .jpg files to the folder: mywebsite.compublic_html/subdomain/media/com_allvideoshare/videos
which is where I have the videos uploaded as well.

I then insert these .jpg files using Direct URL in the AllVideoShare module.

The videos play flawlessly, but there is no custom thumbnail at my website, just a black screen with the play button in the center.

What am I doing wrong.

Possible Reasons:

1. Kindly double check that your thumb image file path is correct.

2. You must be using relative file path(e.g. /media/com_allvideoshare/videos/img.jpg). If yes, kindly try replacing the path by using ABSOLUTE URL(starts with "http://")

3. "Thumb" images are displayed only in gallery pages. If you're expecting display an image inside the player window before the playback, then you must also add your image in the "Preview" filed in the video form. Kindly make sure you've added the preview image.

Hope, your issue solved. Kindly get me your site link if still the issue remains. So, we can check what is going wrong exactly.

Awesome, it works. I had not added a path in the preview box. Adding this, using just the relative path as suggested, works great.

Next small issue: The picture is grainy, which it is not in the Gallery view. Any suggestions? The picture I have uploaded is a .jpg in 463KB size.

Kindly try adding images equal to the player dimensions and this should solve your problem.
