ALL VIDEO SHARE

I need the videos on my site to be in specific date order. The problem is, they aren't all added to the archive in the same order I need them displayed. For example, I want the most recently added videos first, so I select the latest video sort options. However, that sorts by post date.

In joomla articles, you can select the publishing date, but I don't see any option like this for adding videos. Sometimes I need to add in older videos, such as December 2013 video, and I need it to be in the correct order, as if it were published in December 2013.

Is there any way to do this feature, or even customize the ordering in the gallery?

Apologies. Our current version doesn't allow to customize the publishing date and sort according to this. Alternatively, you can customize the video order manually using the "position" column (Components => All Video Share => Videos) and configure the "Order By" option as DEFAULT. This should do the trick

I have tried the ordering column you spoke of, but it appears that it only sorts within a category. I seem to be able to choose the order of the videos within each category, but not able to order the whole list.

In the gallery view, I show all of the videos in all categories. Is there a way to reorder that in the way you described?

Sorry for the double post, I forgot to include a few things:

I am using Joomla 3.2.2.

To clarify, the arrows in the order column only allow for moving through the category (meaning at the end of the category, there is no down arrow, even though other videos exist below it). The position numbers are only relative to the category itself as well.

Apologies. The custom ordering can be done only within the categories. I understood the ability to customize the publishing date and sort according to the date order would solve your problem. We will add this feature very soon.
