Youtube share link vs. embed code was created by Lillian Fidler

I just found out through a youtube information seminar that in order for your videos to be monetized, they must be watched through an embed code on your site. I currently am using the component and have added only the 'share' code. here's the site: www.misslora.com . Youtube says that the videos cannot be played through a player (this seems odd?)

Will it fix the problem if I add the embed code under videos - general settings - video instead of the share code?

Thoughts and suggestions are very much appreciated.

I just noticed YouTube videos starting with "video ads" are not working in our chromeless API player. When other videos working fine, I doubt the issue should be from YouTube itself. But these videos should work fine when you use their direct embed code. So, you can try this.

Thanks for your reply. my client is concerned that by using the player, the video will not be monetized. If you look at the site: misslora.com, you'll see that when you click on any of the video icons it will appear in the player. She thinks that this should all be changed so that there is no player and each video will have it's own play button in order for it to be monetized. Well, it doesn't look like I can do that using this program as an icon is generated. If you have any further input, it would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Lillian

Apologies. To be honest, I'm not able to understand what you're saying. Could you please elaborate your query ?

Yeah, it's a bit tangly :)

OK, my client attended a seminar by youtube. They told her that any youtube videos played on her website would not be monetized unless they had the embed code... she thinks that she has to get rid of the player and have each video play individually. Ie. such as using the code {youtube}videocode{/youtube}. My question is this:

If I put the embed code in each individual video in allvideoshare, will this suffice for youtube, even though we're using the player? We were just using the share code intitially: ie:
if I use this code:
instead, should these videos be ok for monitization with youtube?

I hope this makes sense, thank you :)

Yes. Using the YouTube embed code directly should solve your problem. To add YouTube embed code in "All Video Share", you need to use our "Third Party Embed Code" method. Kindly check allvideoshare.mrvinoth.com/forum/7-addin...s-as-a-video-input#7
