I have the wrong thumbnail on my Facebook posts.
The thumbnail is from the "Related video"




what can I do?

Kindly make sure that you have added thumb image for the Vimeo video that you display on the page. Anyhow, try clearing Facebook's cache for the page you're sharing. Let me know if still the issue persists.

Clear Facebook Cache

I have the FB cache emptied without success.

In the category is the right image available.


Also in the Backend is the picture entered correctly.


when I edit the file "models/player.php" and do "echo $video->thumb" then I see the correct image.

Only on Facebook appears the wrong image.

Aah...I found the issue. We have not enabled the Facebook's "og:meta" tags for "Third Party" video type.

Kindly get me your Server FTP details to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. So, I can integrate the option for you. Please remember, you will have to clear the Facebook cache once again after adding the option.
