NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound was created by Jenny McWilliam

allvideoshare.mrvinoth.com/forum/14-gene...imit=6&start=12#4919

I have the same error message as the thread above.
I uploaded my video via ftp and used the direct URL method to load it.
I have read and tired some of the suggestions in this thread, but I don't really understand much of it.
Any suggestions?

I believe you should have trouble in getting the correct file path. Could you get me your "Live Site URL" in where the video added through "Direct URL" method is displayed ? This might help me to get you the correct path.

Hi All,

I am having the same problem with NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound. I have recently installed All Video Share on my Joomla website and am trying to get a video to work using Direct URL. I have another video that works with All Video Share where I used General Upload, but the video I am working with now is much to large for General Upload. This is a large video which I have FTP to my host. I have set up a menu item and when I click on the menu and press play on the default video player I get the message NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound. I've looked through the Forum and have found many references to this issue and have tried several of the solutions offered none have worked. I took the original .VOB files, their were two, and created an iMovie. I took the .mov file and using Handbrake created an .mp4 file per one of the forum descriptions. I also modified the path to include the domain per another forum recommendation. The path which is www.maumeehighschool1963.com/jmlatest/me...50thReunionVideo.mp4 plays fine when pasted into the address window of my browser.

I have also emptied the cache and disabled Facebook dock and Twitter dock in the default player as two other forum items suggested.

I am using Joomla 2.5. The browser is Safari on a Mac 10.6.8.

At this point I'm not sure what to try next. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Gary

@ Gary L Miller,

I tested the link www.maumeehighschool1963.com/jmlatest/me...50thReunionVideo.mp4 in my local setup and it works good in the player. Then, I decided to check the live player page from your website. But it seems the video is restricted only for registered users. So, kindly get me the proper access details using which I check this directly.

Hi!!! I have the same problem with my videos. I want to buy the commercial version, but I just want to be sure that it works fine. I even encoded it with HandBrake to mp4 and it says the same: "NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound". The link of the video works when I put it in my browser:

www.vocaltraining.com.mx/newsite2/videos/curso-de-verano.mp4

But not in the module. The link of the page where I want to put it is in www.vocaltraining.com.mx/newsite2/index.php

You can see that the module is there but it doesnt work.

If you could help me it would be really great!!!

Thank you so much!!!

@Eddie Robson,

When I tried accessing your Video URL www.vocaltraining.com.mx/newsite2/videos/curso-de-verano.mp4 directly through my browser, it throw 404 error. It mean the video file is not found in the provided path. So, try adding the valid file path.
