Actually you need to use

https://dl.dropbox.com/s/zxkaco8jxayd7lk/1974-11-30a.mp4?dl=1

as "Video URL". But, our extension doesn't allow "?dl=1". Kindly get me your Server FTP details to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. So, I can extend the support for this.

Thanks for your fast reaction.
I understand that you want to place a file on my server. Maybe you can send me te file with instruction where to download it. I like to learn how to solve the problem in case it happens again in the future

1. Just open the following files,

- administrator / components / com_allvideoshare / views / videos / tmpl / add.php

- administrator / components / com_allvideoshare / views / videos / tmpl / edit.php

- components / com_allvideoshare / views / user / tmpl / default_add.php

- components / com_allvideoshare / views / user / tmpl / edit.php

2. Search for

function checkExtension(type, filePath, validExtensions) {

3. Replace it as

function checkExtension(type, filePath, validExtensions) {
return true;

4. That's it. Hope, this help you.

If I use AllVideSshare to start a video file from dropbox, it take a very long before the video starts. I think that the video first id downloaded. If I use a link to the Dropbox file the video start nearly immediately. But then the page lay-out is lost. Is there not a facility in allvideoshare to start the video immediately with retaining page layout?
