how do i get to the css for the player? the allvideoshare.css?

Do you mean the CSS for component or modules ?

For Component,

Just edit Components - All Video Share - General Configuration - Front End Style Sheet

For Modules,

You can find the CSS file from {root} / components / com_allvideoshare / css / allvideoshare.css

Editing the above file would simply fix your issue. But, still there is an alternate Joomla method for modules. Kindly check the explanation for Module Class Suffix from docs.joomla.org/Using_Class_Suffixes#Module_Class_Suffix
