Videos stopped playing - black loading screen was created by Taisya

Hi,

My "all video share" videos have stopped playing and show a black screen with loading animation in the middle forever.

Please see the problem by clicking on any of the videos on this page:
www.la-cat.co.il/index.php?option=com_al...by=latest&Itemid=107

or by going to this page:
www.la-cat.co.il/index.php?option=com_al...by=latest&Itemid=107

I didn't change anything on my site or server, as far as I know.
The only thing I've changed, was move my entire joomla installation from the public_html folder.
But should make no difference, because the videos are playing from youtube.

1) I have the latest version of "all video share" (1.2.1)
2) I disblae sh404SEF for "all video share"
3) I've cleared the cache (both joomla and browser)
4) The videos are working fine in youtube

I've also notices that in my player, the AutoStart checkbox is ckecked, but the video is not starting automatically.

I have to press the play button, and then it's stuck on the load forever.
I really don't know what to do.

I've written a post in the forum, but it doesn't seem to appear on the forum.

I'm using hostgator as my server.

(I've sent my admin info to the support mail).

Please help.

Thank you,
stasya

Replied by Taisya on topic Re: Videos stopped playing - black loading screen

Hi All,

I contacted support and they immediately provided the solution.

This is caused by a cross-domain issue, and requires to put an xml file in the website root directory:

file name:
crossdomain.xml

file content:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policy SYSTEM " www.macromedia.com/xml/dtds/cross-domain-policy.dtd ">
<cross-domain-policy>
<allow-access-from domain="*" />
</cross-domain-policy>

This solved the problem.

Thanks so much for the super quick support!
