i have uploaded a video and now i want to play advertisement before it, please explain the following fields to me properly

Title (Commercial)

Type (preroll)

Video (general upload) (got uploaded successfully)

Advertisement Link (which link i should paste here ? )

Publish (ticked)


please let me know if the above settings are ok, and how i can see advertisement video before original videos gets played.

Yes, everything is ok. "Advertisement link" is nothing but the page URL to which the user need to be taken on clicking the ad video.

Finally, Enable Preroll under Components => All Video Share => Players => [Your Player Profile] => Advertisements.

thank you, it works like a charm on pcs and laptops, but the preroll add dont display on mobile and the VOD starts directly, please advise in this regard,

one more thing, i want to play f4m format on the player, can you please guide me the procedure, and will it work on ios, android etc.

- Yes, the advertisements can be played only in pcs and laptops. I have mentioned this in features list too.

- Sorry, our current version doesn't support F4M format.

The adv. is working with me, but i get under the video the text "PREROLL_MESSAGE".
Can i adapt this message somewhere?

PREROLL_MESSAGE text could be customized by editing {root}/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_allvideoshare.ini file.
