Will there be any development for a popup feature (clicking on the gallery images opens a popup with the player - for that video)?

If not, is there any work-around or other extension/script that could do that?

I would highly appreciate your feedback or ideas...!

Yes, we have plan to add the popup feature in future. But, I can't get you the exact time of this release.
